Did the NHTSA Ignore Consumer Reports about Toyota?

Since 2001, investigators from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) have ignored hundreds of reports about Toyota’s sudden acceleration problems. This proves to be true, through investigation of several federal records that show more than 1,000 Toyota and Lexus owners have reported that their vehicles accelerated suddenly and on their own. The increase of velocity would cause the car to run into trees, brick walls, and many other barriers. As of today, sudden acceleration caused many injuries and 19 fatalities. The truth of the matter is; the very people (NHTSA) who are supposed to be protecting individuals from harm were ignoring any defect clams, while many were dying because of this issue.

Consumers have a right for Toyota, Lexus, and the NHTSA to resolve this issue. There is no time to delay, after far too many fatalities and serious injuries involving the Toyota and Lexus line. If you own a recalled Toyota or a Lexus, and have been injured because of the accelerator defects, please contact M&A Law toll-free at 1.866.789.1664, and speak with a products liability attorney concerning your Toyota’s safety.
