The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has cited Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. for it’s many safety violations at their Mississippi plant. Cooper Tire has requested a hearing with the Occupational Safety Health Review Commission to attempt at clearing a $254,900 fine. OSHA filed 25 violations against the company for safety hazards.
Before fining the Mississippi plant for its various violations, Cooper’s Findlay plant was fined $213,500 for having similar safety hazards. Cooper allegedly committed several safety violations including exposing workers to hazards.
