Convenience Store Clerk Robbed & Killed – Lawsuit Filed by relatives
A lawsuit has been filed in the state of Texas on behalf of relatives of a convenience store clerk who was allegedly shot and killed in a robbery. The relatives have filed the suit against the gas station owners claiming that the company failed to provide adequate security to ensure his safety and that the risk for a crime of violence occurred on the premises was reasonably foreseeable. The crime took place at a Citgo store in Galveston while Mr. Abdul Meje was working his shift, in which the gunman then opened fire. The gunman has agreed to spend the rest of his life in jail without the possibility of parole. The lawsuit claims that ABHI Enterprises is guilty of negligence and seeks damages for pain and suffering, medical expenses, funeral expenses, among other things.
