Baby Bed Recall

Since 2003, and other Internet retailers have sold Amby Baby Motion Beds to consumers. Recently, over 24,000 baby beds have been recalled due to the death of 2 infants. The beds, that resemble a hammock, are advertised to parents who have infants that struggle with colic or reflux. The Consumer Product Safety Commission stated that if the hammock were to shift or tilt, it may have the capacity to cause an infant to roll to one side and become wedged between the fabric or mattress cushion, which could result in suffocation. Two infants have already died due to suffocation from the baby bed. The beds are manufactured by Amby Baby USA and the company offers only one model of hammock style baby beds.
