Wal-Mart heiress, Alice Walton was arrested for driving while intoxicated.  She was stopped by a Texas Highway Patrol trooper who pulled her over for driving 71 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour construction zone.  Walton was coming from her birthday celebration in Forth Worth and traveling back to her home in Parker County.  The trooper claims that Walton failed a sobriety test and refused the breathalyzer test.

She was then arrested and taken into the county jail.  Walton’s attorney Dee J. Kelly claims that Ms. Walton accepts full responsibility for her actions.  According to the Weatherford Democrat, this is not the first time that Ms. Walton has been pulled over for a DWI offense.
