Baja Motorsports have recalled about 308,000 Baja MotorSport Mini Bikes and Go-Carts. The gas cap can leak or detach from the fuel tank on the recalled mini bikes and go-carts, posing a fire and burn hazard to consumers. In addition, the throttle can stick due to an improperly positioned fuel line and throttle cable, posing a sudden acceleration hazard to consumers. They have been 25 reports of stuck throttles possibly due to the line and throttle cable being improperly attached with injuries to the face and other body parts. Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled mini bikes and go-carts and contact Baja Motosports for a free replacement and to schedule a free repair of the fuel line and throttle cable.
