Steven Strobl is Of Counsel at Modjarrad Abusaad Said Law Firm (MAS Law Firm). He is admitted to practice law in the State of Texas, and practices primarily in the areas of Criminal DefenseBusiness LawCivil Litigation, Employment Law, and Personal Injury.  Steven has developed a deeper understanding of clients’ needs in these areas after interning for the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, founding and developing multiple companies, and being a Plaintiff himself in a personal injury lawsuit.

Mr. Strobl graduated in the top 25% of his class from The University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business, where he was awarded University Honors and joined Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity.  He earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, with specializations in Investment Banking and Entrepreneurship, in 2007. He then earned a Juris Doctor from Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law in 2012, where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship and inducted into The Order of Barristers, a national honor society that recognizes up to ten graduating students per class for outstanding ability in advocacy.

While at SMU, Mr. Strobl assisted members of the Dallas community by volunteering for the SMU Legal Clinic, mentoring children from South Dallas through the SMU Dallas Kids Project, and mentoring first year (1L) students through the SMU Student Bar Association.  Mr. Strobl also competed in off-campus and on-campus competitions, in which he and his teams were Champions in the 2011 SMU Mock Trial Competition, Runners-Up in the 2012 SMU Mock Trial Competition, Quarter-finalists in the 2011 National Trial Advocacy Competition, Winners in the 2009 Jackson Walker 1L Moot Court, and Competitors in the 2011 Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot.  Mr. Strobl served as Projects Coordinator and Editor for the SMU Science & Technology Law Review, and continues to participate at SMU by serving as a Volunteer Judge for on-campus competitions.

Mr. Strobl also studied abroad at the University of Oxford, in Oxford, England, where he studied Constitutional Law of the European Union and Property Issues in the 21st Century as part of the Oxford Programme in Law.
