Jennifer Kinder is a senior litigation attorney at Modjarrad Abusaad Said Law Firm (MAS Law Firm). She is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court – Northern District of Texas.

After graduating from St. Mary’s University School of Law, Ms. Kinder joined the joined the El Paso Legal Assistant Society, a nonprofit that provided free civil legal services to low income residents. She represented numerous families and individuals facing civil legal issues, and developed a strong foundation in the areas of family law, probate, The Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Consumer Protective Act (DTPA).

In 1996, Ms. Kinder joined the ranks of Baron & Budd, P.C., where she managed the litigation intake procedures for key asbestos cases, and compiled case analysis to determine the damages of her clients, and the practices of the defendants. Throughout her tenure, Ms. Kinder developed and implemented numerous programs to increase operational efficiency and continuity.

Before joining Modjarrad Abusaad Said Law Firm (MAS Law Firm), Ms. Kinder served as an assistant district attorney in the Community Prosecution Unit of the Dallas County District Attorney’s Office, where she fostered relationships with key community leaders and facilitated partnerships with local nonprofit and advocacy agencies. Her primary work focused on diversion programs and positive engagement initiatives to deter students from entering the criminal system.
