While in school, students have the right to pray at any reasonable time, place, and manner. The only restriction that applies to prayer in school is in the case it becomes a substantial disruption. A substantial disruption would be in the case that a student is praying out loud while the teacher is teaching/ lecturing. Students may not be obligated to pledge allegiance to any government or symbol if this action conflicts with their own personal religion. Students may not be obligated to remove religious symbols or attire if wearing that symbol or attire of clothing is dictated by their religious belief. Also, students may not be penalized for imputing their religious beliefs in their schoolwork.
