Air France Settles Case at $11.5M – Missed Runway Suit

A settlement of $11.5 million will be paid to Plaintiff’s involved in an incident on Air France and two other Airline companies. A judge in the city approved that Air France will pay $9.5 million plus interest and Airbus SAS and Goodrich Corp. will pay $1.58 million to each passenger of Air France Flight 358, which crashed into a ravine after missing the runway at Pearson International Airport in August 2005. No one was killed in the accident, although 33 individuals were injured. The settlement drawn out is fair and reasonable and was made regarding the interest of the passengers involved.
